What you're buying

A spot on Michigan Rescue Wall is a one-time purchase of a place on the wall and a web page with your dog's photos and story. It is a purchase from a business, not a charitable donation, and is not tax-deductible.

How long your page stays online

Your page stays online for as long as Michigan Rescue Wall operates. If the service ever shuts down, pages will no longer be available.

Adoption fees

After card processing fees, 20% of each spot purchase and 100% of each treat purchase is paid toward adoption fees at Michigan animal shelters. Payments to shelters are made monthly and listed on our "Where your money goes" page.

Your story and photos

You confirm the dog is a rescue, that you own or have permission to use the photos, and that the story is true. If you buy a spot as a gift, you confirm the recipient is happy to be featured. You keep ownership of your photos and story and give us permission to show them on the site and in posts that promote the wall.

Review and removal

Every story is reviewed before it goes live. We may decline or remove any page, for example content that isn't about a rescue dog, is offensive, or uses someone else's photos. If we decline or remove your page, we refund your purchase in full.

Founding Pack

The first 50 On the Wall spots are free, one per person. Founding Pack numbers are given in the order spots are claimed. If a Founding Pack story isn't approved, that spot and its number are released.

Add-ons and upgrades

Photo galleries, adoption-day photos and upgrades can be added from your private link. Upgrades move your dog to the best open spot of the new size. After card processing fees, 20% of each add-on goes to adoption fees. Photos added after your page is live are reviewed before they appear.

Finishing your story

Please add your photos and story within 7 days of purchase using the private link we email you.

Dog of the Week

Dog of the Week goes to the dog that received the most treats from Monday to Sunday, Michigan time, and is shown the following week.
