Spots
Card processing fees come out first. Then 20% of what's left goes to adoption fees at Michigan shelters, and the rest runs the site.

Card fees shown are Stripe's standard rate (2.9% + 30¢). We track the actual fee on every payment.
Add-ons and upgrades
Photo galleries, adoption-day photos and upgrades to a bigger spot work the same way as spots: after card processing fees, 20% goes to adoption fees.
Treats
Treats go entirely to adoption fees, after card processing fees. For example, a $5 Handful sends about $4.55 to shelters. If you add $0.46 to cover the fee, the full $5 goes to shelters.

Payments go out monthly. The first one will be listed here with its receipt.
